Vitale Barberis Canonico

Masters of cloth since 350 years

Vitale Barberis Canonico is a fabric mill located in the northern Biella Region, 80km from Torino in the epicenter of Italian wool production. Vitale Barberis was founded 1663 and with over three centuries of experience it is among Loro Piana one of the best cloth makers in the world.

No wonder that today the highest quality of wool and cashmere as well as flannels comes from Vitale Barberis mill factory. They always kept a symbiosis of tradition and modernity in mind. The process starts with the selection of the best wools in the world among others the Australian Saxon Merinos. Recently Vitale Barberis introduced a very delicate Cashmere selection that is double faced (each side shows a different colour).

For our ties we selected some exclusive and limited double face cashmeres as well as an outstanding wool collection. To give you a relaxed elegance allowing a perfect tie knot we constructed our Vitale Barberis Canonico ties untipped with handrolled ends and little interlining offering you threefold and even sevenfold versions.
