By removing the tipping—the lining traditionally used to close the back of the tie - the construction becomes lighter and more expressive. The result is a naturally softer drape and a beautifully formed knot with a pronounced, effortless dimple. This construction enhances the tactile qualities of the cashmere and lends the tie a contemporary, refined character suited to the modern gentleman.
